On the plus side, iPowerWeb offers huge amounts of web space and bandwidth allowance at a competitive price. Customer Support:
Although iPowerWeb offers 24/7 toll free support, we have found ourselves waiting on hold a few times when attempting to contact them. Being that they have over 300,000 customers worldwide, this is understandable. They also have live chat, which from our tests, was a bit slow, but was acceptable and they were knowledgeable. They also offer traditional email support.
Account Management/Control Panel:
iPowerWeb uses vDeck for their control panel. vDeck builds upon traditional control panel software adding the essential eBusiness capabilities such as a website builder, marketing solutions, interactive scripts, e-Commerce, and web mail. vDeck was originally developed by iPowerWeb, but other web hosting providers, including StartLogic, are adopting it's use as their control panel of choice.
Data Center:
iPowerWeb's data center is located in Phoenix, Arizona and uses AT&T’s, Global Crossing and Cable & Wireless' OC48 / OC192 Global IP backbones.
